Short-notice Garlic Mustard Raid
After 3 days in the 50s, and today in the 40s, the ground has completely thawed in the woods near me in South Acton. So I am scheduling a short-notice volunteer work party tomorrow Saturday January 14, 2 to 4 PM to pull out and and kill Garlic Mustard on our Pacy Conservation Land. Knotweed raid at the Canoe Launch
The knotweed is up and growing fast, so I want to get an early attack in. So I am scheduling a short notice Knotweed pull. Help us destroy the Japanese Knotweed growing at the Acton Canoe Launch. We will meet 2 to 4PM on Sunday May 28. Knotweed is too hard to kill, so our control plan is: Chop it to the ground several times a year, and encourage other native plants so they will shade it out.
